AsentTime's booking engine does not read availability from a fixed list — it recalculates on every request. Service duration, buffer time before and after, staff working hours, time-off records and that person's existing bookings all feed the calculation. The result: customers only ever see genuinely open times, and a clashing booking cannot be created.
When appointments are placed by hand, double bookings, appointments on a staff member's day off and long services squeezed into gaps too small for them are inevitable.
Every service has its own length. The system looks for an uninterrupted gap large enough for the selected service, so the times shown for a fifteen-minute service differ from a two-hour one.
Each team member has their own weekly working days, time ranges, breaks and time-off records. A calendar closes automatically while someone is away.
Buffer time before or after a service is held on the calendar but is not shown to the customer as part of the appointment length.
Each branch has its own staff, hours and service list. Customers pick a branch and see that branch's availability.
New bookings, cancellations and changes appear in your panel and mobile app immediately. There is nothing to refresh.
Choose whether bookings confirm automatically or wait for your approval. Pending bookings are collected in their own list.
The most critical part of any booking system is the answer to "which times are free?". If that answer is read from a static list, it loses touch with reality quickly; it has to be recalculated on every request.
AsentTime uses five inputs: the selected service's duration, its preparation and clean-up buffers, the staff member's working ranges that day, their time-off and break records, and their existing bookings. Combining these produces the uninterrupted open ranges, and only those long enough for the service are shown.
The consequence is that clashes are prevented by the structure rather than by a validation step. The system never shows a conflicting time, so a customer cannot select one.
The calendar can be viewed by day, week or month. The daily view puts staff in side-by-side columns so you can see at a glance who is free when.
Bookings can be rearranged on the calendar. When a time is changed, the system checks whether the new slot is genuinely available and refuses the move if it is not.
Each booking is coloured by status: pending, confirmed, completed, cancelled, no-show. At the end of the day you can read the picture without opening a list.

The most insidious class of bug in booking systems comes from time zones: when the server assumes one zone and the browser another, appointments shift by an hour — usually noticed only at a daylight saving transition.
AsentTime performs all date calculations against a single time zone, producing the same result regardless of where the calculation runs. This comes from how the system was designed from the start rather than from patches applied later.
